Delifrance is a French based contemporary bakery cum restaurant situated throughout 50 countries over 5 continents. In Malaysia itself it has 16 outlets. In Penang, the restaurant is located in Queensbay Mall, Persiaran Bayan Indah, Bayan Lepas. The restaurant has elegant outlook with wooden table seating indoors and comfortable cushion chairs in the outdoors of the restaurant with and glass tables. They served satisfactory bakery products such banquets, croissants, fruit tart, coffee and chocolate éclair, assorted flavour macaroons beside than pasta and in terms of drinks they serve a hot cup of cappuccino, earl grey tea just to name a few. All Seasons Place seems to be a happening place right here in down town Farlim, Ayer Itam. A strip mall by the renowned Belleview Group, it offers more than a regular shopping mall with the one of the best dining, healthcare and entertainment. It has a very trendy and modern outlook with 3 floors overall with glass façade elevators, an enormous promotion space with a feature 7-storey cascading waterfall and attractive colour-changing LED lighting and not to mention the parking lots available for customer’s convenience. The floors also hosts infamous restaurant such Secret Recipe, Pappa Rich and Chatime. All Seasons Place also is anchored by Malaysia’s home-grown supermarket Giant.

Ayer Itam Assam Laksa

LaksaFive minutes from the Kek Lok Si temple and situated right behind the Ayer Itam wet market, is undoubtedly Penang’s famous Laksa stall or also known as Famous Ayer Itam Assam Laksa. Laksa is actually rice thick rice noodles together with fresh vegetables (pineapples slices, cucumber slices, mint leaves, onions inside a spicy and sour mackerel based soup together with a dollop of shrimp paste. The patron of the stall which has been operating since past decades offers a nice steaming bowl of laksa for an affordable price. The stall is open from the afternoon  till midnight.Word of Advice, Try to eat-in if possible because takeaway is not recommended. If you need do to so, then by all means separate the soup from the noodles.

Gurney Drive

Gurney Drive is a popular seafront promenade in Georgetown, northeast of Penang. From the promenade, one could have a view of the Butterworth, over at the mainland. Nice time to visit Gurney Drive is during the afternoon and evening when it is more windy. Morning jog at the promenade would be great as you’ll be rewarded with a scene of beautiful sunrise. Taking a leisurely walk at late evening and at night will give you sense of satisfaction as you could see beautiful lightings lighting up the promenade and not to be missed the wide variety of tasty Penang hawker food at the Medan Selera food court or head over to the seafood restaurants located nearby. Gurney Plaza and Gurney Paragon shopping mall is just located along the promenade, so shopping and chilling out shall be in your itinerary as well. Tired or planning to stay over the nite at Gurney Drive, there are several hotels which you could check in namely G Hotel, Evergreen Laurel and Gurney Hotel.
