Scenic Penang Hill

Your trip to Penang isn’t complete without going up to the highest point of Penang, the Penang Hill. A ride up via the furnicular train is an experience by itself as the coach slowly inclined up the hill while you enjoy the flora and fauna and the coolness when it gets higher and higher. Watch out for the nasty monkeys and be mesmerised by the beauty of the butterflies and wild flowers growing by the side. Once at the top, you will be welcomed by an unforgettable panoramic view of Penang Island. Notice the tallest building in Penang, Komtar and the longest bridge in South-east Asia, Penang Bridge. Have a stroll along up the nature path where you’ll see more flora and fauna. To quench your thirst and to satisfy your hunger, head up to the newly opened food and beverage plaza. To see more, there’s a bird park nearby the hill resort. If you are an adventurous person, walk further or take a buggy ride along the nature path where you’ll be greeted with ferns, wild flowers, monkey cups, colonial hill resort and convalescant.
